setting up pinfo as default info-viewer

Hello

It is that  now `info' is the default  in my emacs. I want  this to be
changed to set up `pinfo'.  When I do a `C-h-i' pinfo should start.

What should I put in my .emacs ?

It is not 'info', it's independent viewer written in Emacs lisp.

You can run pinfo in Emacs terminal. Something like

(global-set-key "\C-hi" (lambda () (interactive) (term "pinfo")))

will do what you want.
