Is there a way to get emacs to reread the .emacs without restarting it?

Thanks,
Todd

Will "load-file" be of any use? C-h f load-file <RET>

Cheers,

You can do M-x load-file RET ~/.emacs RET, but note that this might
not do what you need:

(setq foo (+ foo 1))

If this statement occurs in the file, then foo will grow every time
you read ~/.emacs.
