This bug report will be sent to the Free Software Foundation,
 not to your local site managers!!
Please write in English, because the Emacs maintainers do not have
translators to read other languages for them.

In GNU Emacs 20.6.1 (i386-*-nt5.0.2195)
 of Tue Feb 29 2000 on buffy
configured using `configure NT'

Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug:

forward-thing doesn't work with forward-op's that are lambda
expressions, change --->

(defun forward-thing (thing &optional n)
  "Move forward to the end of the next THING."
  (let ((forward-op (or (get thing 'forward-op)
			(intern-soft (format "forward-%s" thing)))))
    (if (fboundp forward-op)
	(funcall forward-op (or n 1))
      (error "Can't determine how to move over a %s" thing))))

to --->

(defun forward-thing (THING &optional N)
  "Move forward to the end of the next THING."
  (let ((forward-op (or (get THING 'forward-op)
			(intern-soft (format "forward-%s" THING)))))
    (if (indirect-function forward-op)
	(funcall forward-op (or N 1))

      (error "Can't determine how to move over %ss" THING))))
