Subject: Narrowing alternate lines

Folks,
I was checking out hidesearch.el and, even thought it is cool, I think
it could benefit from narrowing instead of using overlays to hide non
matched text (because narrowing makes text untouchable, basicly)
My question is: can you narrow a buffer like this:
hello
world
hello
world
hello
world
to become like this:
hello
hello
hello
.. or you can only narrow a single region ?
Thanks in advance,
weber
