I use pcl-cvs with some project and I had the bad idea of choosing "Hide
handled". How do I get back to the previous way? I want to see both
handled/unhandled files.

For now, if I choose "Directory status" all I see are the handled files (no
"Unknown" files). If I choose "Examine directory" I can only see unhandled
files (all are "Unknown").

You mean, you hit `x' (or chose the corresponding menu item)?

I'd kill the *cvs* buffer and make a new one :-)

Hi,

I'm slowly getting used to pcl-cvs for working with cvs.  A minor issue
I'm having when in the *cvs-info* and others with output from cvs, is that
I they show things like this:


   Existing Tags:
   ┣━┳   1.1.1: sluque
   ┃ ┗━  1.1.1.1: start
   ┃              test-snapshot
   ┃              mypkg0_7-5
   ┗━┳   1.5.2: mypkg-br-1-0
     ┗━  1.5.2.1: mypkg0_7-6


The leading symbols in all lines after the 1st, show as a rectangle, and
'C-x =' on any of them, indicates they're point symbols of some sort.  For
example, the first character in the 2nd line gives:

Char: ┣ (299075, #o1110103, #x49043, file ...) point=427 of 814 (52%)
<68-815> column=3

Any suggestions on how to get these to show normally would be
appreciated.

I haven't been able to take advantage to use emacs...
What kinds of things are you able to do ?

You need to install some more fonts, or perhaps simply select a font
familly that include the needed font, if it is already installed.

For example, in 7x13, they display nicely.

Use S-down-mouse-1 to get a the mouse-set-font menu.

Thanks Pascal.  Oh no, don't tell me it's one of those font problems.  I'm
using (on a 1280 x 1024 display):

"-*-terminus-*-r-*-*-16-*-*-*-*-*-*-*"

which I chose to take advantage of AUCTeX's various font-locks (italics,
bold, etc.).  But it seems that such flexible fonts don't have support for
symbols like those in pcl-cvs.  Any Debian users have recommendations for
font packages that might satisfy both needs?

You'd have to build a font familly including this font and the other
needed to make a more complete unicode collection, using create-new-fontset

You can set cvs-tree-use-charset to nil so as to use ASCII instead.

I am not a debian user, but I can tell that the symbols you're  
looking for are in Unicode from U+2500 ... U+257F. Fonts that have  
these symbols are:

	FreeMono
	FreeSerif
	Monospace
	Caslon
	Code2000
	Lucida Sans Unicode
	Arial Unicode
	HAN NOM A and B
	Hiragino Kaku, Maru, and Mincho
	STHeiti
	STKaiti
	STSong (some of these ST-Fonts come with Adobe Readers)
	SimSun-18030
	Sun-ExtA
	TITUS Cyberbit
	some Apple Mac OS X fonts

None of them has all four variants, some have regular (medium) and  
bold or light and regular, one regular and oblique.

The fontsets can be created like:

     (create-fontset-from-fontset-spec "-adobe-courier-medium-r-*-
