Hi, all Emacs users, and happy good year.

Since I've enabled auto-fill-mode permanently, every time I put a TAB somewhere
in the text Emacs puts the same TAB automatically at the start of every new
line.

I don't want that: how can I avoid it keeping auto-fill-mode permanently?

Thanks,
Rodolfo

Emacs will automatically align the next line according to the lines in
the previous one when using text-mode.

Use M-x paragraph-indent-fill-mode instead of text-mode.
