Subject: Sending signals in shell-mode
Date: 21 Jul 2006 06:46:03 -0700	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <1153489563.614605.54400@i42g2000cwa.googlegroups.com> (raw)

When I ssh to a remote host in a *shell* buffer, it seems that `C-c
C-c' (comint-interrupt-subjob) sends a signal which makes my ssh
process exit, instead of getting passed through to the other side:

M-x shell
locahost$ ssh remotehost
remotehost$ ./long-running-foreground-job
remotehost$ C-c C-cKilled by signal 2.
localhost$

When I typed C-c C-c, I wanted the signal to stop
long-running-foreground-job.

Anyone have any ideas?

By the way, this is on CVS Emacs.
