Hi,
I am looking for a minor-mode which helps me
in keeping track with, e.g., my message log by
moving point automagically to the last line in the buffer.
Is there such a standalone mode ?
Well, I guess some hook will do, but M-x something
would be preferable.
Thnks

Yes, thanks. But this does not seem to work in case the buffer
(like *Message*) has no associated file.

In that case position the text cursor at the buffer's end. Then it
will stay there.
