Usually just loading a package does nothing useful, but that's presumably not the case here, so I wonder what kind of effect you're really thinking of when you say "load". Hi, I missed your reply because I don't subscribe, so please keep me in the TO line. I would like to load (maybe require is the right term) all of my packages into my emacs session after a few mins of idle. My rationale is that I would prefer to not wait for org or ESS to load when I need them, but I'd also like to not wait at startup either.
