I don't know this package, if it is for recurse find , rgrep work fine (included in emacs) and you can also try traverselisp.el that work on unix/linux/losedows very well. http://www.emacswiki.org/cgi-bin/emacs/traverselisp.el Inside is the url of the mercurial repo and how to use it.
