However, said path is /not/ the same as the value of the PATH environment variable. But rather, the value of the emacs variable `load-path'. To modify this to include the path to gnuserv. You can add something like this to your .emacs: (add-to-list 'load-path "/path/to/dir/containing/gnuserv/") before the (require 'gnuserv) call.
