Wow. Sounds like the kind of thing that should have been posted April 1. ;) Actually, it seems that using `bzr tag --delete' in a bound branch _does_ delete tags from the upstream repo. At least, in a fresh checkout of the Emacs trunk, the EMACS_PRETEST_24_0_05 tag is no longer present. It's just that it does not propagate to existing checkouts. So it would be possible to get rid of all those "libc" etc tags. Would anyone object to that?
