Agreed.  I remember that when I switched to CVS Emacs, I was surprised
that it did not contain the OORT Gnus everybody was talking about in
the context of Gnus for I don't know how long.  I mean: what better
test bed than CVS Emacs should one desire, once one has a more or less
consistent feature set?  Many qualified testers, and no promise that
it will work.
