Again, the Mac port itself is still experimental/hackers-only. The Mac port provides a native GUI support for Mac OS X 10.2 - 10.6. Note that Emacs 23 already contains the official GUI support via the NS (Cocoa) port for Mac OS X 10.4 and later. So if it is good enough for you, then you don't need to try the Mac port. ** Improvements *** Very experimental support for mouse wheel smooth scroll. This still has several glitches especially with respect to tall lines, so disabled by default for now. You can try this by setting `mac-mouse-wheel-smooth-scroll' to t.
