Subject: mail abbrevs are broken?
Date: 30 Jul 2004 13:11:54 -0400 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <uzn5hbesl.fsf@gnu.org> (raw)
GNU Emacs 21.3.50.1 (i386-msvc-nt5.0.2195)
of 2004-07-26 on WINSTEINGOLDLAP
--with-msvc (12.00)
recently mail abbrevs in message-mode stopped working.
I still have "Abbrev" in mode line and global abbrevs are expanded.
Aliases are not expanded though, neither by " " nor by an explicit M-`.
(the point is in the "To:" header field)
mail-abbrevs is set up correctly
(abbrev-expansion "foo" mail-abbrevs) ==> "foo@bar.com"
while
(abbrev-expansion "foo") ==> NIL
