Actually, my bad - sorry.

If I run without your patch, and only load xterm-mouse-mode it works fine  
in both the server and the client;  but loading also vcursor will break  
both vcursor (which will print garbage instead of moving the point, both  
in the server and the client) and xterm-mouse-mode (which will not do  
anything anymore in the client, but work fine in the server).  With your  
patch, vcursor works just fine, but xterm-mouse-mode produces garbage in  
the client (but not in the server).
