Subject: Doc strings in window.c
Date: Wed, 22 Feb 2006 09:52:48 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <m3u0aru65b.fsf@kfs-l.imdomain.dk> (raw)
Would someone please take a look at the doc strings in window.c.
I see several vars where the first line is wider than 67 chars, and
split-height-threshold is wider than 80 chars.
BTW, checkdoc doesn't check the recommended first line restriction;
on contrary it has this comment:
;; * Format the documentation string so that it fits in an
;; Emacs window on an 80-column screen. It is a good idea
;; for most lines to be no wider than 60 characters. The
;; first line can be wider if necessary to fit the
;; information that ought to be there.
