Today I tried to read things in Gnus using only the pen interface. It didnt work out too well, basically because of lacking menu options. Most I can fix myself of course, but what about keyboard-quit? keyboard-quit is quite essential for emacs usage, and there doesnt seem to be a way to map it to a menu or toolbar button that works when you need it.
