Is lib-src/fakemail.c still needed by anyone, or can it be removed?
It sends mail via "/bin/mail" for systems without sendmail or some other
means of sending mail. feedmail.el (apparently) implements a superset of
its functionality anyway.

Please ask on info-gnu-emacs. Asking here is not enough; not all
users read development discussions.
