I have some things I want to set up whenever I'm editing source code,
pretty much no matter the language. Is there a central hook for code
modes, or do I need to make a table of code modes myself?
Thanks,

From the current trunk etc/NEWS:
**** `prog-mode-hook' can be used to enable features for programming
modes, e.g. (add-hook 'prog-mode-hook 'flyspell-prog-mode) to enable
on-the-fly spell checking for comments and strings.

Thanks; maybe I need to upgrade to Emacs24 sometime soon.
