This is definitely a very exciting news and a long lasting wish for a
lot of emacsers is finally fulfilled.
Given the fact that eglot is part of the core emacs, a brand new
implementation of DAP protocal that does not rely on lsp-mode would be
definitely be a killer feature and has the potential integrating into
the core.
