Use PCL-CVS or one of the following: cvs checkout -r REV file cvs checkout -D DATE file Since it has been reported that replacing w32fns.c with one from several months ago worked, you could concentrate on that file and go back one revision at a time. But first make sure you can reproduce what the problem is in the current version. I am not sure that it is easy to spot without specific accessibilty software installed on your system that relies on tracking the system caret.
