Inadequate for what purpose? Mainly, I review thumbnails in order to discover which image goes with which name. Then I edit the full sized image with the GIMP. By default, `M-x thumbs' does not provide me with names or sizes. Of course, I can move my cursor over an image and figure out the name from that, but that takes more time. It occurs to me that the relevant size is not that of the thumbnail, but of the original from which the thumbnail was made. -- Robert J.
