Today's GNU Emacs CVS snapshot, Wed, 2005 Apr 20 11:55 UTC
GNU Emacs 22.0.50.8 (i686-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 2.6.2)
started with

    emacs -Q -D

fails to display some characters using mule-unicode-0100-24ff
when I run C-h h (view-hello-file)

Some characters using mule-unicode-0100-24ff show as blanks although
other instances of Emacs, such as an instance of 2005-03-30, display
those characters fine.

In particular, the `short test for characters represented by the
character set mule-unicode-0100-24ff' partially, but not entirely
fails. (The lines for Greek, Hebrew, and Russian show blanks; the
lines for Czech,Esperanto, and and Maltese show one or more blanks.)

When I run C-u C-x = (what-cursor-position, with a prefix arg),
Georgian shows a blank square for the first letter after the
opening parentheses although in an older Emacs, the letter displays:

     character: ქ (01222505, 337221, 0x52545, U+10E5)
        charset: mule-unicode-0100-24ff
(Unicode characters of the range U+0100..U+24FF.)
     code point: 74 69
         syntax: w which means: word
    buffer code: 0x9C 0xF4 0xCA 0xC5
      file code: ESC 0x24 0x2C 0x31 0x4A 0x45
                 (encoded by coding system iso-2022-7bit-unix)
        display: no font available
