Some people who use GNU with a Linux kernel see the
windmove/minibuffer bug; others do not. So kernel type on its own
cannot be the critical factor.
For example, Alex Schroeder <alex@gnu.org> gets:
(0 . 0)
with
(emacs-version)
"GNU Emacs 21.3.50.5 (i686-pc-linux-gnu, X toolkit)
of 2003-05-24 on confusibombus"
system-configuration "i686-pc-linux-gnu"
system-configuration-options ""
On the other hand, I get nil with the same emacs-version and
system-configuration, but with this system-configuration-options
"'--with-type1' '--prefix=/usr/local' '--with-sound=yes'"
Hope this helps!
