Subject: Turn on uniquify by default
Date: Sat, 23 Nov 2013 19:44:12 +0000 (UTC) [thread overview]
Message-ID: <loom.20131123T203504-774@post.gmane.org> (raw)
I saw many times people asking the question on the net how the
default display of identicaly buffer names (buf<1>, buf<2>, etc.)
can be improved in emacs. People usually don't find uniquify in
the manual.
Should uniquify with style post-forward-angle-brackets (which
resembles the current default) be turned on by default?
It is a great improvement over the default display of duplicate names
and feels like a much better default.
