I have never heard of anyone using this facility and it does not really work anyway since it will still use the current definition of macros which will tend to use newer facilities and thus generate code that does not run on older versions. I don't intend to actively remove the code, but just that whenever it gets in the way or needs fixing, we could just remove the relevant part instead. Stefan
