As my experiment with BuGit shows, even the 20 thousand issues that were in debbugs.gnu.org at that time can be brought down to 10MB, which is the equivalent of a small handful of adds on an average webpage, I think. And of course forge.el can store it locally in an efficient way (I doubt the sqlite they use will be anywhere near that efficient, tho). It seems that Gitlab doesn't offer an API that makes it possible to download such large number of issues in an efficient way, or forge.el doesn't know how to use it. Stefan
