I think Windows 9x/ME is the most widespread OS there. They'd still have may options left: 1 - Upgrade to a Free operating system. 2 - Use the Cygwin version of Emacs. 3 - Stick to the older Emacs (i.e. presumably Emacs-22). -- Stefan
