Let me just mention that Viewsonic's VP2290 (now discontinued) had
a resolution of 3920x2400 (LCD 22").  AFAIK similar monitors are sold by IBM
and Lg.  And I'm still hoping I'll be able to get my hands on something
like that at some point.
