Of course. My interest in BugIt is just a personal interest in distributed bug tracking. I think Emacs should use something that works well and has a lot of existing maintainers, so we can focus on maintaining Emacs instead. I do think that my vision of what BugIt could be would work great for Emacs, but currently it's just a vision, and based on recent progress there's no reason to assume it will turn into anything else in the foreseeable future.
