What I mean is: Can you describe, concretely, when you personally are running multiple Emacs sessions at once, or abruptly killing an Emacs process? I ask just to make sure I have at least one concrete example of the kind of usage should be supported. Otherwise we might come up with a solution that doesn't actually work for you. Plus, since such usage seems to be considered uncommon, a concrete example will further support your point.
