An emacs crash is still annoying, but a lot less annoying than a crash in most programs .... :-/ I've been running with xassert turned on for a long time, so it's not too bad -- and it does catch real bugs (several recently, as you can see on this mailing list). -Miles -- Do not taunt Happy Fun Ball.
