Is this something that will spare you from explicitly checking the underl= ying OS to determine whether you need to use utf-8-unix or some utf-8 var= iation for windows (for instance)=3F=C2=A0 I=E2=80=99m asking because its use was suggested on cider=E2=80=99s issue= tracker (cider is a clojure programming environment for Emacs) (link=C2=A0= https://github.com/bbatsov/ruby-style-guide/pull/338), but I couldn=E2=80= =99t find any documentation about utf-8-auto and it seems that most Emacs= extensions use utf-8-unix as their process coding systems. As I=E2=80=99= m using only GNU/Linux and OS X I don=E2=80=99t have a problem with utf-8= -unix, but Windows users obviously have. :-) --=C2=A0 Cheers, Bozhidar --53cd1254_b03e0c6_daeb Content-Type: text/html; charset="utf-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Content-Disposition: inline
