Hi Emacs people, I made a small patch to progmodes/grep.el that lets
grep-read-files do the right thing regarding default value selection
when grep-files-aliases contains entries of the form ("ch" . "*.c *.cc
*.h"). I'd be glad to offer my code for inclusion into mainline Emacs.
What are the steps?
Cheers,

Send the patch here. Since we're in the pretest phase for Emacs-23, we
will probably not install the patch right away, tho.
