What I'm saying is that a user who does not know Emacs is initially 
neither interested nor desinterested.  They just start a text editor. 
The purpose of this guided tour is precisely to make them interested.

If the first feeling they have is fear, the become disinterested (or at 
least are more likely to become disinterested).  If the first feeling they 
have is curiosity, they become interested (or at least are more likely to 
become interested).
