I suggest that anyone really interested
read the bug #47047 bug thread instead of
just the "summary" that was presented here.

But 90% of that bug thread, and the bug it's
supposed to be about, has absolutely nothing
to do with themes or this theme deprecation.

Everything about this theme deprecation is a
diversion from the subject of that bug thread.
But that's where the "argument" behind the
deprecation was made - if you're interested.

Not that anyone _should_ be interested.  It's
all supremely UNimportant, IMHO, but it might
be indicative of something (what, I dunno).

I'm even surprised that anyone noticed (came
across) this deprecation.  Very surprised.
