We can't > expect users to fix those old Android bugs, and we likely lack resources > to modify Emacs to work around them. Those statements are true, interpreted strictly. We can't "expect users to fix" the bugs that manifest on old versions of Android, and we can't fix them ourselves, And we should not feel obliged to try. But our users often _do_ fix bugs that involve old versions of systes that they continue to use. Although we do not have an obligation to help develop those fixes, it would be a gratuitous unkindness to slam the door on accepting those fixes. -- Dr Richard Stallman (https://stallman.org) Chief GNUisance of the GNU Project (https://gnu.org) Founder, Free Software Foundation (https://fsf.org) Internet Hall-of-Famer (https://internethalloffame.org)
