All we know is that some organizations don't present no-warranty notices. We don't know whether it was a thought-out decision. If it was, we don't know what their reasons were. No conclusion can be draen. > Open any other (non-GNU) program, free or non-free, and nobody will be > shouting at you ABOUT THERE BEING NO WARRANTY. Displaying text on the screen is not shouting. I see you have strong feelings about those words on the screen, but I don't see any real problem in them. No real reason to remove them. If they were of no importance, I'd say, "Ok, delete them if you like." Because it would not be worth arguing about. But they are important -- and Nicolas Rougier posted the reason why. This is a GNU Project policy decision, and "I hate the capital letters" is not an argument for changing deleting them. -- Dr Richard Stallman Chief GNUisance of the GNU Project (https://gnu.org) Founder, Free Software Foundation (https://fsf.org) Internet Hall-of-Famer (https://internethalloffame.org)
