In a moral sense, that changes things. If you suggest that a person use Peertube, explaining that its JS code actually is free (supposing you've verified that every script is indeed licenses that way), you're not doing anything bad. But we can't take that approach that when we refer the pubilc to sites, because that approach does not scale. It is not practical to tell people, "The following 156 sites send only free JS code, even though you can't verify that because the code isn't labeled for LibreJS." Advice of that form is too hard for people to follow, since they can't remember those sites. Therefore, giving such advice is self-defeating.
