Can you summarize _what_ >changes where done to make Emacs look more modern? A list of maybe >3-5 things would give a good idea. For example, one concrete change >is to replace a warning face that is bright yellow with a dark yellow. > If you change a single face it doesn't improve anything. The whole thing is the important. The overall result after all the changes. A light toolbar looks worst with a dark background as well; big icons looks terrible with small fonts. I realise that, but could you give concrete changs that were made? It seemed that it was relativley small changes (some color changes that made emacs modern), so what changes are you talking about exactly? The default spaceemacs link shows a black background, is that it? I don't see anything that is very different with regard to fonts, and colors. Can you point those changes out? https://github.com/jonathanchu/emacs-powerline https://github.com/TheBB/spaceline https://github.com/domtronn/spaceline-all-the-icons.el https://seagle0128.github.io/doom-modeline https://www.spacemacs.org/ (there are pictures) There are loads of random changes there to the default Emacs, I do not know which one you are refering to. What am I supposed to look at?
