If we refuse s.el, isn't it inconsistent? Treating two different cases differently is never "inconsistent". This is a software project, not a court of law. There is a superficial similarity between dash.el and s.el: they both make a mess in the Emacs namespace. However, at the level of substance they are not similar. s.el does not try to add substantive features -- it is about names only. By contrast, dash.el has real substance: it is useful. Some of the ccnstructs it defines -- the ones I have seen -- are useful and very general. I look forward to seeing the rest of the constructs in dash.el, but based on what I've seen, I expect to see more good features. -- Dr Richard Stallman Chief GNUisance of the GNU Project (https://gnu.org) Founder, Free Software Foundation (https://fsf.org) Internet Hall-of-Famer (https://internethalloffame.org)
