There are many sites that do this; let's not choose Kickstarter without considering the others. In fact, if it is associated with Amazon, that's a reason to prefer any other. (See http://stallman.org/amazon.html.) Issues to judge by include: does the site require users to run nonfree Javascript? Thee is no need to argue now about whether this method will work.
