Hi.
Picked this up on slashdot. We got to get 23.1 out so we can claim the
highest version number used.

The version of less here is 429, and that's on Debian which is usually
behind the times.

In New York, most people don't have cars, so if you want to kill a person, you
have to take the subway to their house. And sometimes on the way, the train
is delayed and you get impatient, so you have to kill someone on the subway.

...yes, but emacs version numbers are meant to be read as
21.001.050.001

Well, it isn't really a version number as all versions inbetween hasn't been
released. If you say 4.18 then it would qualify.

less version number scheme is based on how many times less was
compiled by the maintainer, I doubt that he compiled less 4.18 times.

I would think that for the purpose of version number comparisons, we would
really be releasing 1.23.1 anyway.

This product is sold by volume, not by mass. If it appears too dense or
too sparse, it is because mass-energy conversion has occurred during
shipping.
