At least, they are not shown in RMAIL nor > RMAIL-summary buffers. unrmail needs to be fixed to transfer the labels. When I wrote it, there was no way to record labels in an mbox file so discarding them was inevitable. The simple fact that the buffer is automatically converted is worrisome. I think we should prompt the user before doing it. Maybe, but given that both the old and new versions of Rmail can convert the format automatically, I am not convinced the prompting is necessary. PS: What's the plan for people who use both Emacs-22 and Emacs-23 to access their rmail mail? Each version can convert the file, so it does work. Making it prompt each time will make that somewhat more annoying. ^ permalink raw reply [flat|nested] 5+ messages in thread

I found that the labels are not lost but preserved as these headers: X-BABYL-V6-ATTRIBUTES: X-BABYL-V6-KEYWORDS: and newly added ones are recorded as these headers: X-RMAIL-ATTRIBUTES: X-RMAIL-KEYWORDS: Just recently, Chong fixed it: * mail/unrmail.el (unrmail): Record labels in X-RMAIL-* fields, which are recognized by the new Rmail, instead of X-BABYL-V6-*. So, it seems that the already converted RMAIL file can be fixed just by replacing X-BABYL-V6 to X-RMAIL. But the problem of keywords not shown in RMAIL-summary is not yet fixed. --- Kenichi Handa handa@m17n.org ^ permalink raw reply [flat|nested] 5+ messages in thread
