But I'm still in doubt that it is worth adding an optional KEY argument to `read-passwd'. Maybe you are right. I won't insist on changing `read-passwd' if you think it is cleaner not to. So how about renaming lisp/gnus/passwd.el to lisp/passwd-cache.el?
