I completely fail to understand this sentence :

What is `done' ? Should it be

Oops.  It would appear that this is no longer what it used to be on
windowing systems.

The description appears now to apply to M-` only, at least on GTK+ and
likely also other window-systems.

Speaking of which of which, I'm not convinced by the docstring of the
example :
  "Reposition line point is on to top of window."
Well, it was very painful for me to parse this one.

What about, "Reposition current line to top of window." ?

About this example : is it a Good Thing to use (interactive "P") and
make the to-number conversion by hand ? (interactive "p") produces a too
small example maybe ? :-)

It works for me with trunk and 22_BASE, Gtk+, Lesstif/Motif and Lucid widgets.
 Isn't F10 bound to x-menu-bar-open for you?  Or perhaps your window manager
is stealing all F10?

Well, it opens the menu bar, but doesn't use the minibuffer, as the
refcard says. So I'm for the replacement of F10 by M-` in the documents.

    <f10> runs the command x-menu-bar-open
      which is an interactive compiled Lisp function in `/usr/share/emacs/22.0.91/lisp/term/x-win.elc'.
    It is bound to <f10>.
    (x-menu-bar-open &optional FRAME)

    Open the menu bar if `menu-bar-mode' is on. otherwise call `tmm-menubar'.

Do you have menu-bar-mode off?

The test for nil won't work with "p".

Yes it does. Which change do you want me to install? [1]

Note that I can't do anything for other languages, except for the F11 ->
M-` change (and for French).
