1. Run emacs -Q

2. Eval this expression in *scratch*:

(custom-set-variables
 '(partial-completion-mode t))

3. M-:

Eval (lisp-<M-TAB> )  (press <TAB> after lisp-, before ")" )

4. Select using the mouse lisp-indent-line.

Result:

  Eval: (lisp-indent-line

The right parenthesis was lost.
