Fontsets node and non-GNU-like systems

Could people familiar with Windows and MacOS please look
at the Fontsets node in man/mule.texi, and report on what aspects
of it are, or are not, accurate for those systems?

The "standard fontset" (fontset-standard) is not defined on Mac OS
(non-X11) builds.  Instead, they have `fontset-mac' that is described
as follows in the "Mac International" node:

  The fontset `fontset-mac' is created automatically when Emacs is run
  on Mac, and used by default.  It displays as many kinds of
  characters as possible using 12-point Monaco as a base font.  If you
  see some character as a hollow box with this fontset, then it's
  almost impossible to display it only by customizing font settings
  (*note Mac Font Specs::).

So they both can display many non-ASCII characters, but they are
different in the sense that `fontset-mac' is used by default but
`fontset-standard' is not.  If this difference can be considered to be
minor, it would be possible to rename `fontset-mac' to
`fontset-standard'.

That seems like a good idea to me?  Does anyone disagree?

Apart from the obvious references to X, and X resources, everything
there applies equally to Windows. It might be useful to have a note at
the start to state that it applies also to Windows and Mac (noting the
differences in the Mac version at the appropriate place, or changing
the Mac implementation to fit the documentation), and pointing
users to the MS-Windows Registry node (or even to the X Resources
node, which already contains that link) for instructions on how to
apply X resources settings on MS Windows.

I will make the Fontset section say the same things it says now,
without reference to X Windows or any operating system.
Then people who work on Windows and MacOS can DTRT for their systems.
