    I think the whole line should be highlighted including the line number,
    the colon and the matching line.

I think the splitting now implemented, so that the line number
highights separately from the match.  Is it possible to do that
but including the colon with the line number?

If not, I suggest changing the error message so that it says
something special when you click on that colon.
